Resistance of plant pathogens to fungicides is one of the key agricultural problems that limits the effectiveness of chemical crop protection. In Kazakhstan, work is currently underway to identify the resistance of wheat leaf rust (Puccinia recondita) to widely used pesticides. The article highlights the results of field monitoring of the development of leaf rust in various regions of Kazakhstan, which helps to assess the degree of spread of the pathogen and its resistance to the fungicides used.
