The article examines the influence of agrobioecological factors and agricultural technologies on the development and harmfulness of locusts, as well as the use of modern technologies, such as geographic information systems (GIS) and IT tools, to monitor and predict the spread of the pest. X. Particular attention is paid to integrating climate, soil and vegetation data to model conditions conducive to locust breeding and develop environmentally friendly control measures.
